The ‘Northstar-at-Tahoe’ Resort hosts the third stop of this dynamic five-race mountain bike series, known as USA Cycling’s Pro Gravity Tour (Pro GRT), from Thursday, June 24, 2010 through Sunday, June 27, 2010 in Truckee, California USA.

The Pro GRT brings top athletes, from across the nation and from around the world, together to compete at the highest levels on America’s best terrain!  Current Downhill World Champion Steve Peat (Santa Cruz Syndicate), World Cup series leader Greg Minnaar (Santa Cruz Syndicate), Josh Bryceland (Santa Cruz Syndicate), Jared Rando (Giant), Kieran Bennett (DRD Tomac), Olympian Jill Kintner (Transition Racing), as well as many more riders will be competing in what has quickly become one of the world’s premier cycling race series!

Venue
Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort is located in Northern California, just minutes from breath-taking Lake Tahoe. The Resort offers ample lodging and dining options, and just a couple miles from the resort is Truckee, California offering many more. The Mountain Bike Park is centrally located on the mountain, with hiking or Gondola access to Mid-Mountain where most of the action will happen the Pro GRT event weekend; with the Pit Area, Vendor Village, Awards Ceremony and the Finish Lines. The Lodge at Big Springs, located at Mid-Mountain, offers delicious food options, restrooms, a bar and an excellent place to relax during the day on the deck.

Movie Premiere
Looking for something to do Saturday night? The ‘Follow Me’ Movie Premiere will be held in the Village at Northstar-at-Tahoe at TC’s Pub. Doors: 6:00 p.m., Movie starts: 7:00 p.m. $10 cover at the door, includes raffle ticket. Drink specials will be available.

Alcohol and Food
There is absolutely no outside alcohol allowed to be brought onto Northstar-at-Tahoe’s property. Any food that will be handed out pre-packaged or not to the general public will require a Placer County Health Permit.

Parking
Parking is available on-site for free. If you are planning on parking a trailer, you will need to contact Whitney Wall at wwall@boothcreek.com or at 530-562-8048 to make arrangements. All trailers will be parked for free, but will need a trailer pass. Since the parking is located at the base of the mountain; mountain access will be via the Gondola or hiking up. A mountain bike lift ticket, hiking pass, or ProGRT access pass, good for the Gondola only are available through our Season Pass & Ticket Office, located in the Village at Northstar or by calling 1.800.GO.NORTH.

Registration for racers is available online on our Web site. On-site athlete registration is in the Season Pass & Ticket Office located in the Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort.

Team & Vendor Village spaces are still available for the Expo at Mid-Mountain, all necessarily information regarding prices, insurance, and registration can be found by contacting Whitney Wall at wwall@boothcreek.com.

Vendor and Team Load-In Times:

Vendors/Teams are encouraged to bring generators if they need power. There will be an additional $75 or more fee if we need to supply power to you. Advance notice is required. Reserve your space early, as space is limited.

On Thursday, Friday and Sunday: all generators must be turned off by 10:00 p.m.
On Saturday, June 26, all generators must be turned off by 4:30 p.m.

The mountain can get windy so make sure to bring sandbags, stakes and any other additional materials you will need to secure your tent, equipment and other items.

Vendors will be provided parking located near the Village. Access after load-in will be via Gondola or a short hike to Mid-Mountain from the Village. Directions will be provided closer to the event.

**All vendors and teams must have an insurance certificate submitted to Northstar-at-Tahoe by June 21, 2010. Insurance requirements can be acquired by contacting Whitney Wall at wwall@boothcreek.com**
