Another section of Livewire opened up at Northstar this weekend and it is unbelievable! Tons of flowy jumps and giant BMX style berms. All this and the trail is watered to stay compacted and to keep the dust down! Livewire is about halfway complete now - we can’t wait for the rest of it to open!

Northstar opening weekend was awesome! dhReno riders were pounding N* Fri, Sat and Sunday. Rocks, dust, drops and jumps … it was great!

Northstar mountain bike park opens next week Friday June 29, 2007 and the park is looking great!
I talked with Sara Coustette at N* yesterday and she reports that they are modeling the bike park after Whistler! There is a trail crew of 7 that will be building and maintaining trails throughout the summer! The Tahoe Zepher Express lift is also open this summer (for a total of 3 lifts) to access more of the mountain. One of new trails being constructed is designed in the spirit of Whistler’s ”A Line” trail! I can’t wait to get up there and ride!
