Golden Valley Downhill ‘09

When the rest of the area is muddy or covered with snow GV is the place to ride. The semi-sandy soil soaks up the moisture and the riding is AWESOME! Here’s a video from this past weekend’s riding:

There is a kick-ass DH trail in Golden Valley that is techical and fast. The trail has several knarly rock gardens, steep sections, a 3′ drop, a 6′ drop and ends up in a bowl with a lot of jump options.  We did a bunch of runs down it on Sunday and afterwards went to Randy’s for an excellent BBQ prepared by Debbie and Jane.
