Randy’s new Intense Tracer

Wow the Tracer is about as close as it gets to “the one bike”. This bike works as an awesome trail bike – it’s responsive, it climbs well and the pedaling efficiency is astounding – but the Tracer really shines when you point it downhill. This bike can handle ’bout anything you find on a trail ride! It gives you the confidence of a dh bike in a lightweight, rideable package.  Black Rock Bikes built the Tracer with a Fox 36 Talas, Fox RP23 high volume shock, Intense Shimano XT build kit, XT wheelset, Joplin Adjustable Height Seatpost, Kenda Nevegal 2.35 tires running tubeless with Slime Pro, Garmin 705.

We rode the Forresthill Divide loop on Sunday and it was incredible – warm, clean air and a great tacky singletrack!

Auburn Trails * January ’09

We rode the Foresthill Divide Trail and then Clementine down to the Confluence on Sunday and it was a total blast!  The trail got us a little muddy in spots but it was totally fun and rideable. Since most of us haven’t been on our bikes in weeks it was awesome to get out of the Reno cold and ride in a beautiful area!
