California State Championships at Elings Park

September 27th & 28th, 2008 * Santa Barbara, California

A Report from Jordan Lopez: “Over the weekend I had the opportunity to race in the “California State Championships” at Ellings Park in Santa Barbara.

Here are my results:

Pro Men Downhill – 6th

Open Men Super D – 4th

Cat 2 Men Cross Country – 2nd

I am still waiting for my bikes from Santa Cruz, so all of these races were done on a “Trek Fuel”, a rental bike from Cambria Bike Emporium that I have never ridden before.

This was a difficult race, in that the bike I was riding was not made for any of the races I participated in.”
